This man looks like an accountant and plays like an angel...
exactly what I thought haha!
Yes, and it's much better then to look like angel and to play like an accountant.
@@leonidpolonsky4932 What about looking like an angel and doing addition like an accountant?
@@travis5125 !!!
😄😄🤣😄
The most underrated violinist of his day. That tone alone...
Roman Kim

In the classical music world he’s well recognized and acclaimed. I’d say he’s understated but not underrated. And one heck of a NICE guy to boot!
@@Jackson_Blagg Kim hacks away at everything.... I can't remember the last time he put the "tone" in the spotlight. He's flashy and that's about it.
And those glasses he wears can f*ck RIGHT off. No one else wears them. If you're a great violinist then you don't need to.
I remember Jimmy as a little boy always carrying around his violin case. We all knew that with his fantastic talent and work ethic he would be world famous.
He's too skilled I'm calling the police
you should call the _caprice_
ok i'm sorry
@@larizz527 haha haha! Here's a like from me😂
So seamless and melodic , technique is pure perfection
James is my favourite violinist . His version of the Pag. Caps is the best ever.
Enlimdr okay
I've been meaning to give Ehnes a listen after hearing so many recommendations. I'm blown away. few times have I heard such clean bowing and vibrato that keeps the musicality so intact
Yes, his bowing is almost miraculous! He maintains such wonderful contact with the string.
how is he so good
Practice😂
Practice
Deal with the devil :)
He was probably born that way.
He traded in his soul
Why is he so underrated he is veeeeeery goooooooooood
Obviously has performed this MANY many many times.
So perfect and relaxed!
Hadassah Oo - yes, but it is always a high-wire act, and an astonishment, to hear and SEE it so well-performed.
BTW I know why it’s called “The Hunt”, but does anyone know why it’s #9 in the set of 24?
@@davidmehnert6206 since all set was considered by Paganini as a set of etudes, I suppose caprices are sorted by difficulty (estimated by composer).
gimmick2509 I don’t think there is anything in relation to difficulty, for example caprice no.4 is probably the most difficult one
Every single note has a beautiful tone. Signature James.
A new performer to me, however I sincerely like his sound. Fine performer!
Woooow so understated and not show-y off-y but what talent!!
Amazing!!!! Perfect!!!!!!!!!!!
I like when he performed ricochet technique
Inspirational!
Perfecto!! Bravo
he doesn't look showy like some of the contemp. violinists these days...but WOW can he play!!!
When you perform this well you are not the show, the music IS the show.
I have his album performing this whole set of pieces but it doesn't capture the magic of seeing him perform it here. Fantastic! More videos like this, for sure!! :)
Amazing spellbinding
Sei bravo Maestro.
Lovely 👏
Bravo

Loredana Lory What?
Is that a Stradivarius?
Would give it two likes if I could. I feel as though I have just died and gone to heaven. You are an inspiration. Please marry me
1:46 i hear no violin... i hear BIRDS hehehehe

Rocket men lyrics
I have a theory that this piece is called "The Hunt" because anyone who's not at Ling Ling level of playing has to do a lot of hunting to play the notes in tune 😂
Can Joshua Bell play like that? I don’t think so.
I prefer Uto Ughi
